There’s only one true thing that can make us happy-ish in life, and that’s the knowledge that other people have it worse than us. I’m not talking about starving children in Africa kind of worse, I’m talking about people living in the same conditions as us, but are having a far worse time. I’m talking about your neighbor getting dumped by his girlfriend, your co-worker catching her husband cheating on her, the guy at the coffee shop who lost all his money in the stock markets, the fat kid who fell over and dropped his lunch. These are the little things that make our lives seem better. So, in the spirit of other people’s misery, here are a bunch of people having a worse day than you.
